So, January 2021 and lockdown 3…well enough said about that.
We are starting 2021 thinking positive, striving forward and continuing to grow and develop. Lockdown will bring its own fair share of positives and negatives and Covid-19 remains amongst us for the foreseeable future – but we aren’t going to let that stop us.
We had the most exciting, record breaking busiest Christmas on record. Delivering a little over 20,000 items around the UK and Europe. Our warehouse was a constant hive of activity and it was incredible. Thank you so much to all of our customers.
Well now, we find ourselves in January and we aren’t stopping anytime soon.
You may have already seen some exciting changes taking shape on our website – we have been working hard and are continuing to develop our site to deliver you the best experience possible. And guess what? there is a lot more to come.
Our amazing team of developers are working hard on a new upload system for our Sewing Patterns making it quicker and easier to upload your patterns, select your finishes and place your orders.
Customised products will now come with easy editing and, and easy to view and check proofs. Again, making it easier for you to order the products you need and want.
We are proud to boast a wide variety of payment gateways already on our site however not content on sitting still – you may have also seen that we have integrated fully with ClearPay. This now means you can spread the cost of your purchase over a period of weeks with smaller payments.
Things are getting quicker – our systems have improved, and our machines have been upgraded. Next day service is coming!!!!
It is still being tweaked and worked on so not quite yet, but we anticipate the roll out of “Order Today for Delivery Tomorrow” to be upon us very soon! This will be available on an initially limited but essential range with a view of hopefully being able to increase this as time goes on and our systems settle fully.
We are so excited about this and can’t wait to launch day – so look out!!!
Now Couriers – Christmas coupled with Covid got very stressful last year.
There were huge pressures on the networks, and we cannot thank all of the delivery personnel enough for their hard work during a very difficult time – we would also like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for their understanding and patience.
We are aware of multiple issues with parcels going missing or being delayed so we have quickly worked to resolve this as a matter of urgency. We will continue to use RoyalMail for all of our Large Letters, and Small Parcels upto 2kg. However, we are now pleased to announce that we are partnered with DPD Local meaning large parcels will now be dispatched with them. Hopefully this will see a faster, more reliable service for you moving forward.
Well, there is so much more we could add – more incredible news, more products, new equipment/services – but enough is enough. As always, your support remains incredible and we cannot thank you enough. 2021 is going to be a big year so keep watching.
